The vision

Throughout the decades, olive oil has become utterly associated with the Greek cuisine.

Extra Virgin Greek Olive Oil is regarded as one of today’s most valuable olive oils of the world. It takes the first place in almost every competition.

It is a journey in the history of olives and olive oil through family and local traditions of olive growing.

The museum is in Vistona, a beautiful village in the northwest of Corfu, close to Paleokastritsa and Angelokastro. The equipment and the items being exhibited, belong to the Konstantis family and have to do with taking care of the olive grove, making and storing olive oil. The Museum of the Ionian University did the research for the museum and set up the exhibition area.
