The Neighborhood
Vlachatika is a village located above the green bay of Kalami with a beautiful view of the coast of Albania. The village is situated along the main road that connects Corfu town to Kassiopi. Luxury villas and apartments have been built on its slopes that reach the sea and are rented to visitors looking for a peaceful vacation in an exquisite natural scenery. There is one tavern in Vlachatika, but Kalami, with its beautiful pebble beach and blue waters, has more to offer.
Explore Kalami
Having been awarded the Blue Flag, the beach of Kalami is a favourite of locals and travelers alike and is not hard to see why. It is a beach with white pebbles, crystal clear water and incredible views.
This unspoilt beach with the great natural environment also offers various entertainment opportunities, like water sports, while you can soak up the sun, relaxing on sun beds which are available on the beach.

Explore Kouloura & Chouchoulio
Kouloura it is at the narrowest part of the sea channel, where only 500m of water separates Corfu from Lake Vothrotos and its neighbour country, Albania. Many small and big boats are anchored in the small port. These boats carry both local fishermen and tourists. The beach of Houhoulio is right next to the harbour covered in the shade of trees.
Chouchoulio is an unique location, just as its name suggests. It is a narrow strip of gravel and stones with a few large trees offering natural shade. Therefore, these trees and the land beneath them do not resemble a beach very much. The sea is quiet and protected from the breezes, with no waves, but the seafloor is rocky and quickly gets deeper.
The historic church of Agios Nikolaos is located in the beautiful port of Kouloura.
