The entire beach is covered with sand and its depth is not steep, making it safe and ideal for families with children. Memorable is the pier with the bench wetted by the sea on three sides which is also a famous photo spot for patrons. The main part of the beach extends in front of the shops of the village and it meets all the specifications of a well-organized beach. Along the beach, there are cafes, bars, restaurants, and fish taverns for all tastes. If you head right towards the cape that separates it from the beach of Agios Stefanos, the beach is more isolated. At this point, the rocks that line the beach have a high clay content so many people go there to cover themselves with the thermal clay.
