    1. How to get there: From Corfu, the easiest way to reach Meteora is by taking a ferry to Igoumenitsa on the mainland, and from there to drive to Meteora. The ferry ride lasts about 1.5 hours, and from Igoumenitsa, it’s about a 3.5-hour drive to Meteora. Alternatively, you can fly from Corfu to Thessaloniki and then follow the directions mentioned above.
    2. When to go: The best time to visit Meteora from Corfu is from April to October, when the weather is warm and sunny. However, keep in mind that during summer it can be crowded with tourists, so it’s best to visit in the shoulder seasons of April-May or September-October if you prefer smaller crowds.
    3. What to wear: Since Meteora is a religious site, visitors are expected to dress modestly. Women should wear long skirts or pants and cover their shoulders, while men should wear long pants and shirts with sleeves. Comfortable walking shoes are also recommended, as there is some walking and climbing to do in order to reach the monasteries.
    4. What to see: There are six monasteries in Meteora that are open to visitors, each with its own unique history and architecture. The monasteries are still functioning religious sites, so visitors are asked to be respectful and quiet during their visit.
