Trails, Castles, Sunset Hiking Tour Details
Our tour begins with a visit to the Byzantine Angelokastro castle, where you’ll learn about its extraordinary history and enjoy the breathtaking views of the west, central, and south parts of the island. We’ll then take a short break at the village square in Krini, where you can enjoy a cold refreshment at a local café, surrounded by friendly locals.
As the sun starts to set, we’ll continue our hike along narrow trails, often used by locals and their donkeys. We’ll end our day by watching the most breathtaking sunset you’ve ever experienced, in the peace and quiet of a secluded path.
This tour is suitable for anyone in basic or average physical condition, with appropriate footwear for trekking or sports. We recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses, and please note that itineraries may be subject to minor changes depending on weather conditions.
The tour operates on Tuesdays and Fridays from April 1st to October 26th, with a walking duration of 3-4 hours. The difficulty level is 90% easy, 10% moderate, making it accessible to most people. This is a private tour for a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 10 people, with more persons accommodated upon request.
We offer English and Greek as our spoken languages, and other languages are available upon request. The tour includes an experienced guide-escort, walking poles, one organic cereal bar, and a 500ml bottle of water per person. Transportation from and to accommodations is available upon request, and rates will be advised.
