River trekking (Full day activity in the Greek mainland) Details
During this 3-3.5-hour activity, you’ll have the chance to walk through the canyon and feel the cool, fresh water at your feet. You can swim in a small part of the river and admire the imposing rocks surrounding the canyon. The water is so clear, you can even drink straight from the rock! Our route ends with magnificent small waterfalls, making it a moment to capture and remember forever.
The total trip duration, including the ferry crossing from Corfu to Igoumenitsa and the drive to the starting point, is approximately 8-9 hours. Our activity has an easy difficulty level, making it accessible for all participants.
We operate from 17/6-30/9, and our operating day and time is Saturday, depending on the ferry itineraries. Our meeting point for guests with no transfer is at Corfu new port next to the ticket office. For guests with transfer, we’ll meet you outside your accommodation.
Our group size is limited to 4-8 people, ensuring a personalized experience for everyone. Our guides speak English and Greek, and for other languages, please check with us. Don’t miss out on this incredible adventure!
Necessary equipment:
Sport shoes or sneakers and socks as it is easier to walk on the river terrain. Flip flops or sandals can be used before and after the crossing. Swimsuit or shorts, hat, sunscreen, and a spare t-shirt if you prefer to walk in the canyon with your t shirt on.
