The Neighborhood

Alypa Beach is a small beach in the cosmopolitan tourist resort of Paleokastritsa, located within the area’s small marina. The water is astonishingly clear, even though Alypa beach lies inside a marina. The beach is sand and gravel-covered, and the green of Paleokastritsa’s beautiful natural landscape dominates the surrounding area.

The beach at Alypa is well-organized. Umbrellas and sunbeds are available for rent here. You can even rent a boat to explore the many coves and caves along the coast. Although Alypa is accessible by car, is considered quieter than the adjacent Paliokastritsa central beach. It is the perfect place to unwind and swim in the crystal-clear waters near this bustling tourist resort on the northwest coast of Corfu.

Explore Paleokastritsa

Travelers on Corfu almost never miss the chance to visit the area of Paleokastritsa, since it is a major landmark of the island.

A picturesque village with various lovely bays offering great swimming conditions and the Monastery of Virgin Mary, located on top of a rocky hill, overlooking the endless sea of Corfu.

The castle was built on the edge of a steep cliff above the sea, so if the weather is good, visitors can see the whole island from the top. Visiting Agelokastro is like traveling back in time, while you can enjoy the breathtaking view and the magical sunset.
